Men’s Weekend!
Men’s weekend happens next weekend, March 2nd and 3rd. However, Men's Week of Prayer and Fasting kicks off tomorrow, Saturday, February 25, and runs through Saturday, March 2. Below are the three main goals:
- We encourage the men of the church to set aside three different times a day to devote to prayer. Suggested times are 7am, 12pm, and 7pm. Some examples include praying for men’s ministry, church leadership, and/or other church ministries.
- Select at least one thing to fast from for the 7 days
- Allow the Holy Spirit to guide
Men’s Weekend Events
“Guys night @ AH Sports Lounge” (Friday night Vespers program), Friday, March 2nd, @ 7pm
The men are invited to put on their favorite team apparel and come out for a unique and spiritually uplifting vespers program. Don’t worry, a jersey and/or interest in sports is not required!
Men's Day, Saturday, March 3rd, 10am
The men will be doing things a little differently than the traditional service format. Nevertheless, we want you to come out, share in the experience and be blessed! For more info, contact Elroy Pierre at .
Children's Church
First Saturday of the month, 11:45 AM - 1:00 PM
Children's Church!
Every first Saturday of the month, the children of Advent Hope gather in the fellowship area of the church and participate in their very own church service. There are arts, crafts, music, puppets, and yummy snacks for all to enjoy. This great service also gives parents and guardians an opportunity to enjoy the regular church service upstairs while the children play and learn. Children's church is open to kids of all ages.
