This year, we are thrilled to partner with Team TLC NYC, a grassroots organization committed to providing basic needs and support to asylum seekers and migrants. With your help, we aim to reach our fundraising target of $10,000 to aid Team TLC NYC in their vital and inspiring efforts.

Advent Hope is organizing a new volunteer opportunity with Team TlC's Little Shop of Kindness. We are inviting our Advent Hope youth (all ages can participate), to create gift boxes for the refugee children as a way to help them feel welcome in NYC. Participants can pack the boxes with items they believe would help another child better adjust to life in a new country. Click on the link for further instructions and to indicate your participation.

Come and join us at our annual Advent Hope Teens Hike.

This event is open to teenagers aged 13-19 and their parents!

Bring sunscreen, hiking shoes, and a sandwich for lunch. We will provide water, snacks, and transportation.

We will meet at Church of the Advent Hope at 9:00 AM and return at 6:00 PM.

Experiment with songs | Cultivating Community

SongLab is a space to experiment together with writing and performing songs. Our goal is to cultivate an inclusive community where we find support for our artistic journeys and a place to belong. At our monthly SongShare, we perform songs and share why they inspire us, challenge us, or both. All are welcome to join us on Saturday afternoon to perform or listen!

Join us in creating handmade greeting cards that will be sent to over 4,000 older adults throughout the DOROT organization.
Use your creativity to make Birthday cards for older adults in the community. All supplies needed will be provided.
